Is it possible some students weren't there when Hogwarts went up in flames?

Yeah, I remember William Vincent leaving Hogwarts the moment Olly died. Since it was 85 years later, he could be shuffling about as an old fart. In fact, if everyone lived had the same lifespan as a strong wizard, all of the old characters should be sitting around at some point.

RE: UTS: The Plot
that'd be cool, no one suspects her because she's so good looking. (Evil people are ugly Big Grin ) That's cool. Can some of the old characters return? Like the ones that were immortal? (because Joshua briggs was a vampire)

Looking forward to seeing who the new villain is

It's not easy to distinguish good from evil. Sinners can surprise you. And the same is true for saints. Why do we try to simply distinguish people as good or evil? Because no one wants to admit that compassion and cruelty can live side by side in one heart. And that anyone is capable of anything...

RE: UTS: The Plot
mm I think Donovon might have helped Thom and River to get out but I doubt they'll reappear on this site so i'm gonna play a descendent of them.

RE: UTS: The Plot
Actually I think that bringing back some of the old characters is kinda a bit repetative, seen as this is supposed to be a new forum. Plus, it's years later so most of the characters would have died anyway.
Descendents would be cool though.

RE: UTS: The Plot
Considering wizards live like 150 years, and this is only 80 years after the original DCF, the old team could still be found in some wizarding retirement home (maybe not even that - they're still young whippersnappers!). I agree with you about needing to refresh the characters with this new site.

RE: UTS: The Plot
Yeah, most of the characters were students after all, so they'll only be in their 90's at least! But yeah, having new characters would be a fresh start although I guess you could pull in a few of the old characters for old times sake. Like asking advice or something like that, seen as they lived through it all and have probably seen it all. Old characters are great for teachers as well. Because (apparantly) they know everything!!!

RE: UTS: The Plot
Added another bit to the plot, I feel we need a little bit more of the ministry's reaction and then for time to pass and for us to start our RP a few months after the above plot.

Nice, but I object to London's air being labelled 'polluted'. It's got some of the cleanest city air in the world, you know Wink.

But yeah, really good.
