Your questions now answered.
It is extremely important for you to have an input in the way that this forum is going to run. However, there are certain things that need to be a certain way for it to be able to run in the first place.

Use of Old Characters
Initially, old characters are not to be used. In the early part of the planning phase I commented that time would have moved on by around 85 years. This has been increased and 'current time' will be categorised as 2150. DCF v2 was set in the current date, so that is a large amount of time that has gone by. For this reason I am discouraging the direct use of old characters. You may indirectly use them (as in, your new character can be a descendent of your previous character) but there must be an appropriate connection. Father is out of the question, and grand father is pushing it really...

Super Abilities
To discourage power playing and remove any chance of there being God-like characters there are to be no 'new' powers created for now. This means generally a lot of things are controlled by nature and are therefore random.
There will be absolutely zero fun if everyone is playing a super-character. I simply won't allow it to happen.

Rounded Characters
With the introduction of character sheets - abilities and traits - you should have a greater idea of what your character will flourish in or at.
Knowing what they're good at is the hard part! You also then know what your character isn't so great at, and it is important that these weaknesses and quirks are played out. If your character has absolutely no flaws then you will be no fun to RP with (that is, if your character was accepted in the first place).

Character Limit
Initially the character limit for all those registered here will NOT apply. This means that you may therefore have your main character and three additional characters right from the start.
The four character limit will apply until we have reached a stable number of members. As soon as that point is reached then I plan on making Muggle characters exempt from this rule, or having a separate limit for Muggles.
Characters who are played in the future or past will also not apply (see the question below for information).

Past and Future
Initially, this ability will NOT be available. However, once we have got into the swing of things there will be the ability to role play events occurring in the future and that occurred in the past. This will give you the opportunity to play out old characters (which if they are still on DCF v1 or v2 will be available to you) as well as future characters for whatever reason that may be.

Conclusion
I really do not want to have to be strict about the rules, and I won't do unless I am pushed into doing so. I have issues with characters who have God-like characters and they are to be corrected before used. They are no fun for anyone.

If you have any further questions please add them to this thread and I will get back to you.

RE: Your questions now answered.
Very helpful! When you say no super abilities, you said that things existing already will be OK, right (like animagus)?
