[mt]Appearance and Physical Characteristics[/mt]

Mosden is a tall, muscled man standing at around 6'3" and weighing a little over 300. He has shoulder length black hair that is mostly straight with just the slightest wave to it. His eyes, like almost all males in the Vincent line, are an icy almost-white blue. His skin is fairly normal, not too pale and not very tan. He keeps his appearance like this for the most part, however since he is a metamorphagus he sometimes grows tired of his appearance and takes on the appearance of people he has seen. His most frequent is that of a 15 year old boy with spiky brown hair. He shares the same physique, though more slender and wiry in it's appearance. The boy also has dull green eyes usually half-lidded. His clothes of choice are usually a t-shirt, jeans, combat boots and some sort of jacket, though sometimes he wears more wizard-like clothing. He feels a strong distain to formal dress, though, and has no formal clothing.

Mosden's mind is in constant overdrive about everything around him. He is always looking for new opportunities or goals. He finds it easy to memorize information and recall it, although if he doesn't like the topic he'll forget it nearly immediately after learning it. He adores mental challenges, finding games like chess or sudoku to be extremely entertaining. Due to his upbringing, he often jumps to bad scenarios or conclusions to future events, which makes him nervous and sometimes stumble with his line of thought or cause him to be unprepared for the good or different from his original thought. He also feels that everything shouldn't be generalized, instead people should switch between closely examining the small things and stepping back to see the big picture so they can see it from all angles. People who are short sighted or feel the need to generalize anger him to the point that he might yell at them for it.


[mt]Social Characteristics and Personality[/mt]

Mosden is an extreme introvert when it comes to people due to his upbringing. He has no problem dealing with things by himself or keeping himself company. He also never seems to be lonely even though he has no friends. Because of his lack of social skills, he just stopped trying to make friends, instead deciding to immerse himself in books, excersizes and thrills. He also loves to explore all of his surroundings, dedicating hours of his free time to just wandering the area and taking in the sights. He is a very determined individual and doesn't care to hear other people out as much as the average person, instead sometimes even disregarding what they decide and doing something himself. He is usually at least content or happy with his daily life and strives to find new things to excite him and further his goals. While as mentioned he isn't that nice to other people, he usually isn't outright hostile to other people, instead opting to stay quiet or polite until they leave.However, if he were to find a friend, he would be very loyal and nice, trying his hardest to keep them happy and attempt to keep them out of harm's way.

Any sort of challenge, a really good thrill that gets his adrenaline pumping, learning about something ancient and mystical, people who can stand him, and exploring new places.

People who can't be independent, large social gatherings, opinionated bigots, rules that restrict freedom, and people who feel magic can be generalized into good and evil.

History/Upbringing:
Mosden was born in a small town located in America to Maria and Taylor Vincent. They loved and cherished their child, teaching him right from wrong, caring for him to the best caliber, and educating them their self. At the age of six, there was a terrible accident and both perished. Mosden was sent to his only living relative, the old and bitter William Vincent. He raised the child with more discipline and stricter education, focusing more on Dark Arts and the defenses against them. He also read much about wizard history, and started to become biased against wizards, seeing most of them as terrible or at least snobbish. He developed a fondness of muggles and their ability to do things without magic. He actually likes muggles enough that he will talk to them more often and more than likely try to befriend a muggle rather than a wizard. He rarely left the house because of William frowning on human interaction and ended up becoming secluded, instead immersing himself in fitness and his education. When he turned 16, William told him he had taught him all he was allowed and that if he wished to continue his education, he would have to go elsewhere. Just as he was about to be enrolled into Durmstrang, William heard that Hogwarts was to be opened once more. Feeling that Mosden would end up learning more not from the actual school, but instead the terrible events that surrounded it, he instead convinced Mosden to enroll there.


Additional Information
Mosden is a Metamorphmagus and usually keeps his true form, but has been known to take the shape of various other people he has seen since his childhood. He is a big fan of transfiguration, DADA, and Dark arts, is disinterested in Charms, and is downright terrible with all potions to the point that he actually tries to avoid making them. He also maintains and owns William Vincent's old motorbike. He also has a switchblade that is enchanted to lengthen itself and not rust. His wand is a 12 1/4 inch oak/elm blend and a nundu claw core.

Mosden Vincent is also a Animagus and his form is a Grizzly Bear.
