His eyes, like almost all males in the Vincent line, are an icy almost-white blue. His skin is fairly normal, not too pale and not very tan. He keeps his appearance like this for the most part, however since he is a metamorphagus he sometimes grows tired of his appearance and takes on the appearance of people he has seen. His most frequent is that of a 15 year old boy with spiky brown hair. He shares the same physique, though more slender and wiry in it's appearance. The boy also has dull green eyes usually half-lidded. His clothes of choice are usually a t-shirt, jeans, combat boots and some sort of jacket, though sometimes he wears more wizard-like clothing. He feels a strong distain to formal dress, though, and has no formal clothing.

Mosden's mind is in constant overdrive about everything around him. He is always looking for new opportunities or goals. He is usually at least content or happy with his daily life and strives to find new things to excite him and further his goals. While as mentioned he isn't that nice to other people, he usually isn't outright hostile to other people, instead opting to stay quiet or polite until they leave.However, if he were to find a friend, he would be very loyal and nice, trying his hardest to keep them happy and attempt to keep them out of harm's way.

He raised the child with more discipline and stricter education, focusing more on Dark Arts and the defenses against them. He also read much about wizard history, and started to become biased against wizards, seeing most of them as terrible or at least snobbish. He developed a fondness of muggles and their ability to do things without magic. He actually likes muggles enough that he will talk to them more often and more than likely try to befriend a muggle rather than a wizard. He rarely left the house because of William frowning on human interaction and ended up becoming secluded, instead immersing himself in fitness and his education. When he turned 16, William told him he had taught him all he was allowed and that if he wished to continue his education, he would have to go elsewhere. Just as he was about to be enrolled into Durmstrang, William heard that Hogwarts was to be opened once more. Feeling that Mosden would end up learning more not from the actual school, but instead the terrible events that surrounded it, he instead convinced Mosden to enroll there.

Mosden is a Metamorphmagus and usually keeps his true form, but has been known to take the shape of various other people he has seen since his childhood. Shoulder length brown hair and Deep hazel eyes. Her skin has a peachy, soft complexion with the odd freckle when she’s been out in the sun. She tends to wear scruffy, grungy clothes like vest tops, ripped jeans and hoodies. Her favourite thing to wear is an acid wash denim jacket with a butterfly bleached into the back. Often has an impish expression or one that looks like she’s about to fall asleep though she is more alert than she’d like you to believe when she looks like this. Her footwear choice is commonly very worn trainers or boots that were her sixteenth birthday present. Small and slim build, not especially strong, though she’s pretty good at kicking people, she's also wiry and graceful in certain aspects making her seem like a dancer.

Izzy isn’t a stupid person but she lacks the patience to solve problems and doesn’t put much effort into anything technical other than the mechanics of a car or strategy for racing. She sucks at maths and sciences mostly and scraped through her exams. English did a little better. Her strengths lie in strategy, mechanics and instinct.

A perceptive person. She’ll understand what someone is going through usually but that doesn’t mean she’ll help you if something’s going wrong in your life, she’ll probably ignore you for a few minutes unless you start crying or something. A quiet person often seen as stupid and a daydreamer so they’re surprised when she’s noticed something they haven’t. Izzy prefers animals to people, which is good considering animals tend to get close to her in any situation. She can be sarcastic most of the time, untalkative and uncaring but when she feels up for it she’ll be much more friendly and co-operative. Izzy often needs encouragement or nagging to get anything done. Tends to curse a lot for no reason but when she's really angry she'll shut up and get away from whatever is causing her temper. Izzy got over it mainly because she had to focus on things like getting a decent meal and making sure her dad paid the bills to the people they owed. Small and slim build, not especially strong, though she’s pretty good at kicking people, she's also wiry and graceful in certain aspects making her seem like a dancer.

A perceptive person. Izzy prefers animals to people, which is good considering animals tend to get close to her in any situation. She can be sarcastic most of the time, untalkative and uncaring but when she feels up for it she’ll be much more friendly and co-operative. During the assault on the castle, he was kidnapped by the attacking force and held prisoner. Using his unique elemental powers, he escaped, and tried to make it back to Hogwarts, only to find it gone. Embarking on a journey to build his Elemental powers, he travelled from the icy plains of Antarctica to the glare of the Sahara Desert, to further gain control of the elements. After stopping a potential Dark wizard from destroying a muggle coffee shop, and being rewarded for it, Cameron started a bounty hunting and private investigating service. Using his abnormalities to his own gain, he quickly became a respected and feared hunter.

However, when tracking a criminal hiding in the mountain peaks of Hogsmeade, a freak accident with his ice powers flash froze him and the criminal in the icy peak of the mountain. While the criminal quickly died, Cameron's elemental powers preserved him for ninety years, until Hogwarts was reopened, and the leader of the Order of the Phoenix was re-awakened, sending an energy burst to the last surviving member, which caused an explosion of fire in the frozen ice wall. Thawed out, Cameron awoke to find himself in the distant future.

Long into the past in Ben's history there was a man named Daniel Chorley. He was a previous headmaster of Hogwarts, one of the greatest schools of witchcraft and wizardary in the wizarding world. It was unclear where he was on the day Hogwarts fell, but it is assumed that he was not on the site. He was never seen since and his wife and daughter had to leave their home and live somewhere in the muggle countryside to escape the wizarding press and Ministry officials trying to track him down. As time went by and as Hogwarts was never rediscovered nor a replacement created the previous generations of Ben's family were kept 'in the dark' of their special powers as Wizards and Witches. Unaware of their powers both his mother and father come from Wizarding families, but neither of them know of their powers.

Ben had a very loving mother and father who gave him a very good upbringing. He wasn't spoilt, but his parents cared very much about him and were paying close attention to his education and social lives all the way through his childhood. In his secondary education he had a close knit group of friends who he continued to communicate with when he went into university. But Bristol university was where he made most of his friends and continues to contact them on a regular basis.
Throughout university he excelled in the business degree he was taking and his leadership skills were highlighted as a particular strength of his. He was always very good around people and was a good motivator. He would never back down unless he knew he was in the wrong and he would never give up or stop. It is best for us to begin character development and get the characters interacting with each other - developing friendships and hatreds of each other's characters!
• Although there will be nothing sinister at the first glance, we will have selected a character within the teaching staff at Hogwarts to play the 'bad guy/gal'. There were suggestions of an attractive young lady, and I think that's an excellent idea. We will discuss who will be playing this character soon, although if you are interested do say so!

Just as he crouched, the silence was interrupted by a burst of light. Moments later, there was a monumental roar. Everything was thrown into the air. Students, death eaters, and all sorts of magical creatures which inhabited the school and grounds were thrown hundreds of feet into the air.
The man and the two Phoenixes were left untouched. He stood up and turned around, the two animals still perched in his hand. He looked yet more pale now, as if he had just received a dementor's kiss.

He was responsible for the deaths of all of these people.

The bodies dropped like flares from the sky, landing all around the grounds of the school. As the final body hit the ground, the man fell onto his knees. It was happening, just like he'd been told.
He began to feel tired. His eyelids were becoming heavier and heavier, and as his eyes closed the man’s body fell to the ground. The two phoenixes fluttered to the floor along side him. The spell had exhausted his body, but his mind was most definitely active.

The man was the deputy headmaster of the school. He was one of the most powerful wizards of his time, and had an overwhelming strength that only few wizards possessed. He had sacrificed this strength to ensure that Hogwarts was protected. But with this protection was a cost. He had killed thousands of wizards, witches and magical creatures which had lived at Hogwarts.

This was one of the many dark secrets left untold.

Many wizards had dared to find the castle, but their efforts came to nothing. The spell that had been cast could only be broken by one person and one person alone. Wizards wrote books and articles claiming they knew what had happened to the castle, but they were all dismissed by the Ministry.




Eighty-five years passed.

Through the misty intricacy of the Forbidden Forest, an explorer was making his way through a path that had been covered by leaves when his foot came into contact with a battered old book lying on the ground. He looked down, frowning at the book. Taking a knee, he put one hand on the book to scrape the dirt off the cover.
As his hand made contact with the book, it began to hover in the air. The man took his hand off the book and stood up, and as he did so the book began to move forwards.
He followed.

The book guided him through the leaf covered path, until it stopped at an opening in the tall trees. He took one step out of the opening, and gasped for air. It was as if he was being suffocated.
He fell to the ground, but began to breathe. He was conscious, but not awake. It was as if he was in some sort of dream world.

Inside the Gryffindor common room, a man still lay on the floor, a phoenix on either side of his body. The room was still lined with Gryffindor’s colours, along with several pictures, posters and notices. It was if the school year was in full swing. The Gryffindor crest still sat, skewed slightly from the previous fight with the death eaters.

The man on the floor began to breathe.

Precisely three minutes and fifty three seconds later, both of the men opened their eyes.

The explorer found his head surrounded by leaves, the book that had guided him to the opening on top of his right hand. He glanced upwards; his eyes scanned the ruined castle. Although he had never been to this place before, and he had only ever heard rumours of its beauty he was entranced.

The man inside the castle glanced around the room in which he lay. He stood up and began to stretch. He stood for a moment, looking around the room and straightening out the robes he was wearing. Two piles of ash lay either side of him.
He strolled towards the Gryffindor crest, taking out his wand and uttering, “Reparo”. The crest straightened itself out, and began to shine in the sunlight.
There were two short bursts of flames, but the man did not turn to see what was going on.
The two phoenixes flew onto the man’s shoulders and began to sing to each other, just like they had all those years ago.


Hogwarts had been awoken.




The summer evening's sky was an array of deep oranges and reds. It was a peaceful evening in London city centre. The hustle that would ensue in just 10 or 11 hours would take all of that away.
A man stood on his apartment balcony, his head up in the air as he starred into the sky. He took in a deep breath of the polluted city air, exhaling slowly as he looked down at the expensive watch on his wrist.
It wasn't like his owl to be late. If it had been any other person this would have been insignificant, but for him it was far from that. His eyes scanned the horizon for any sign of his owl.

It was several minutes before his eyes caught a glimpse of something, far in the distance. He recognised it almost immediately, but something was different. It usually carried a fairly heavy load of letters.
Today it carried just a single note, wrote on a scruffy bit of parchment.

The owl landed on the balcony and began to peck at its master. The man petted the bird with one hand as he tried to untie the parchment with the other. He glanced at the front of the letter. Printed onto it on block capitals were the words "For the Minister". The man frowned as he opened the folded piece of parchment and began to read the enclosed message.

His expression changed from a frown to that of awe. He tapped the owl on its head gently, and it flew away. He turned around and walked indoors towards his fire place. A bowl lay on the coffee table filled with a dust like material. He furiously took a handful of the dust and threw it into the fire. "The Ministry of Magic", he said, defining each syllable as if he was almost spelling it out.

There was a breeze of air and he was absorbed into the fire. The piece of parchment lay on the coffee table next to the bowl of dust. It was folded in such a way that only the bottom of the note could be seen.
It read, "Signed, Deputy Headmaster of Hogwarts. The School of Witchcraft and Wizardary."

He arrived at the Ministry.

The quiet and tranquil surroundings of the Ministry were only hampered by a single man's footsteps. They were defined, sharps steps from a man who meant business. The steps became less frequent until there were no more that could be heard at all. The man uttered a few words under his breath generating a spark at the tip of his wand. The spark vanished almost instantly as if it had split into several different pieces and had been given a set destination to go to.

Indeed it had been given a set of destinations to go to.

It took just a minute before the tranquillity of the hall was eliminated. Wizards and witches of all different shapes and sizes were appearing out of thin air talking to one another as they walked towards the man. They were all puzzled as to why he had brought them back here at such a time. There was one final 'poof' as the final official made his way towards the minister. As he walked closer to the crowd the others fell silent, and just one of the crowd spoke out.

"What is it, minister?", they asked with a concerned tone to their voice.
"The school", he replied. These two words created a stir within the crowd which was quickly dampened with the shrill cry of a small woman close to the front of the crowd.
"When?!", she shouted, causing several of the crowd to squirm with intolerance at the high pitched scream.
"I received a note just half an hour ago", the minister said, his eyes fixed on the crowd. He quickly continued, eager to keep the attention of all those present. "It's genuine, signed by the man himself. I propose that a group of us head out there now to see for ourselves, led by me".
This created another stir, instantly creating a divide between the crowd. Several members of the ministry backed off, whilst others stood behind the minister. It would take some time before they believed what had happened.

And so the group of ministers vanished into thin air leaving the remainder behind to discuss what they had been told. One thing was for sure: things were about to change.

Character sheets are designed to aid the realistic development of characters by giving them characteristics and specialities. It also helps to discourage power playing and creating a God like character (which is forbidden). Along with a character profile you are building the foundations of your character.

This thread is designed to act as a guide for creating your own character profile in our environment. If at any point you do not understand, do not hesitate to contact a manager or administrator.

Important Information/Conditions

• Upon joining the forum you are permitted to have one character. After one week of full activity you are then entitled to your maximum of four characters. (i.e. your initial character along with three additional characters)
• If you wish to create your character profile thread and you have not yet completed it, you must make it clear at the top of your thread that it is not complete. You then have 48 hours to complete it before it will be reviewed. If it is not complete 48 hours after posting it will be made void.
• Note that once your topic has been posted it cannot be edited without moderation from a manager/administrator. If you are wishing to make changes you should see the topic entitled Amending your Character Profile.
• Ensure that you have read all of the rules for both the character sheet and character profile before you post it!
